Course Description

After gaining IT skills, students need to get employed. In this class, you will learn how to  present yourself for real world environment and what you need to know about work  environment. Student will learn the importance of cover letters and your resume and what  employers are looking for in new recruits. 

Skills related to employment are also included, such as interview role playing,  information on job searches and submission of resumes.

Course Objectives

Students gain insight into workplace issues. Discussion includes workplace ethics, such  as working within a team framework and employer/client expectations. Role playing  allow the student to practice interpersonal and communication skills in work related  situation simulations.
